White Undercoat

YECOA YL-806

Packaging unit

Aerosol 450㎖/Can, 20cans/Box

Product information

General magnetic particle inspection involves evenly applying white paint (YL-806) to the surface of the test object, allowing it to dry, and then spraying with general magnetic particles (YL-807) for inspection.
This process enhances surface contrast, enabling more accurate detection of fine defects.

※Features and effects are as follows:

  • Inspection Principle:
MT (Magnetic Particle Testing) is a non-destructive testing method where a magnetic field is applied to a ferromagnetic material. Magnetic particles accumulate at areas where magnetic leakage fields occur due to defects, making surface and near-surface defects visible.
  • When the surface of the test object is rough or the color is opaque, white paint (YL-806) is applied before inspection.
  • It provides excellent contrast, enabling accurate detection of even fine defects on rough or opaque surfaces.
  • Dries quickly and is easily removed during post-processing.

Usage

  • Wet magnetic particle inspection method.
  • To maximize the color contrast of general magnetic particles (YL-807).

How to use

  • Clean the contaminated area to be inspected with Crack-Check Cleaner (YL-801). (Drying time: 2min~6min)
  • Evenly spray white undercoat (YL-806).
  • Generate a magnetizing current field.
  • Evenly spray general magnetic particles (YL-807).
  • Visually inspect the area.

Precautions

  • This should be used only for its intended purpose.
  • Ventilation is necessary when using the cleaner.
  • Do not inhale it for a long period of time.
  • Avoid long contact with skin.
  • Test prior to applying for Fluorine resin and Fluorine rubber products, because the Fluorine solvents is used.
  • As a flammable product using compressed gas, it is dangerous. Please observe the following precautions.
    1. Do not use it toward fire.
    2. Provide good ventilation for long-time use.
    3. Do not use near heater or stove.
    4. Do not keep it in the place above 40℃.
    5. Provide ventilation to use it in the closed room.
    6. Do not throw it away into fire.
    7. Punch the can to throw it away.
    8. Spraying may not work well below 5℃.
    9. Be careful, as exposure to direct sunlight or heat may cause an explosion.
    10. Check for sparks in the vicinity, wait for the gas to disperse after spraying a certain amount, and then reuse.
